J. Bennett Designs OMEGA Valve Mod. 2 MKII 300BLK MCX

The J. Bennett Designs OMEGA Valve Mod. 2 MKII is a tunable gas valve designed specifically to refine the suppressed shooting experience of SIG Sauer MCX-pattern 300BLK rifles. The Mod. 2 MKII incorporates nearly a year of end-user feedback, with redesigned gas ports and extended gas flow paths intended to slow cycling and improve reliability across a wider range of subsonic ammunition and silencers.

A redesigned indexing flange and aggressive knob texture make it easier to rotate the valve within the gas block and change gas positions. Four operating positions provide adjustment for different ammunition configurations, including an OFF position intended for maximum suppression. The valve also incorporates gas jet screws that allow excess gas to be vented from the front of the valve, with Micro Jet Screws available separately for finer tuning.

The Mod. 2 MKII comes standard with a durable, lubricious black DLC coating. When properly tuned for a suppressed setup, the OMEGA Valve is designed to provide a softer recoil impulse, less severe at-ear sound signature, and marginally reduced exposure to toxic gas. Performance can vary depending on ammunition and silencer selection, and the valve was specifically designed for suppressed operation.
