BUYING A GUN FROM AN ONLINE SELLER IS EASY!
The process of buying a gun online might seem intimidating, but it’s actually very easy and painless! In general, you purchase from our website, firearms ship to your chosen United States FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) who will conduct any final paperwork and/or background checks with you that are required by Federal Law and you will take your gun home.
Take comfort in that all firearms we sell are BRAND NEW guns from the manufacturer unless specifically advertised on listings as USED in several places.
THE PROCESS: BUYING A FIREARM THROUGH AN ONLINE RETAILER
STEP 1 - Select a firearm from our large inventory of handguns, rifles, and shotguns and add it to your online shopping cart. Please double-check UPC online with a quick Google search to make sure it is indeed what you want.
STEP 2 – Purchase firearm/s, and select desired FFL at checkout – See step 3, all guns ship to an FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee)
STEP 3 – Locate an FFL licensed dealer, select during the checkout process, and have them send their license and contact information to us as directed in the confirmation email. You may also use our FFL finder tool which is located on a tab in checkout, or you can find it here. This is a general list of all local FFL dealers and not necessarily a list of who we ship to or who we have shipped to.
Some notes along with this:
+ PER ATF Requirements we need the actual license of the dealer we are sending the gun to, after the online gun sale please have your local dealer email their FFL dealer (Federal Firearms License) to FFL@BHARMORY.com with your order number in the header. We do not reach out to the receiving licensed firearms dealer unless you absolutely need us to. In that case please provide your order number and their email address to FFL@BHARMORY.com and ask us to request their license. To save time we do not call other dealers.
+ If your requested firearm dealer is highlighted green this means we have their most recent FFL on file. This does not necessarily mean they are good to go. Their most recent license may have expired, or they may be closed or not accepting transfers. Please contact this dealer to make sure they are okay with doing firearm transfers and to make sure they will accept dropship transfers. If they do transfers, please find out their hours/policies/transfer fee and current address.
+ Receiving Dealers will charge what is called a transfer fee. This is set by them and is not billed by us. This is their fee for receiving the transfer and doing the paperwork. It is always best to ask the dealer what their fee is ahead of time so you are not surprised. Most charge $20-$50 but this varies by dealer.
+ You may receive several emails if we do not have the physical signed license of the local FFL to verify and keep on file to ship to. If you receive these emails this means we do not have their license or it has been sent to us in a format that is not searchable or unable to be opened, please carefully read these instructions to ensure your gun will ship in a fast manner.
+ If we do not receive FFL within 5 business days, we will refund/cancel this order and may charge a cancellation fee in accordance with our store policies.
STEP 4 – We ship the gun and send tracking. We ship guns ourselves and dropship guns so they may ship and arrive separately. We ship guns using the best methods UPS, FEDEX, SPEEDEE, OR USPS. This will be selected by us and is unable to be specified.
STEP 5 – Gun/s arrives at receiving dealer/FFL and they check them in, They will typically call you when it’s ready to transfer. Please allow a day or two waiting period for their phone call. Just because it arrives at the receiving dealer, does not mean they have time to check it in and properly file the paperwork. If you ordered multiple firearms and only want to make 1 trip, please make sure all guns have arrived.
STEP 6 – You go to the receiving dealer, inspect the gun, “Accept Transfer”, pay the receiving dealer their FFL transfer fee, complete the required paperwork, and pick up your gun.
STEP 7 – Take the gun home, read the manufacturer manual, clean/lubricate as directed by the manufacturer to remove any preservative oils, be responsible, be safe, and have fun owning your new FIREARM!
STEP 8 – Start browsing BattleHawk Armory for optics/holsters/accessories for your gun, or for your next online purchase of a firearm that follows all legal requirements!
NOTE- ALL FIREARM PURCHASES ARE FINAL, If the background check is failed we charge a 20% restocking fee. If you discover any blemishes or have any issues whatsoever with the gun after it’s been transferred, please contact the manufacturer of that gun for replacement, warranty, or service. We do not accept firearm returns for any reason after it has been transferred.
