The Ascent Modern Sporting Rifle is built around the forged aluminum receiver set with enhanced features like a tensioning screw to eliminate wobble between the upper and lower receivers. The barrel is 16” long with a SOCOM profile and a durable black Nitride finish. The M16 style bolt carrier group also features the same black Nitride finish. The 13” free float handguard fully covers the carbine length gas system and features M-LOK attachment slots for a full range of customization options. The rest of the AR-15 is outfitted with Mil-Spec parts that are reliable and help to keep the price down.
