The EXPS3-DCR combines a familiar EXPS two-eyes-open form factor with the Danger Close Reticle (DCR), which gives shooters a fast, instinctive close-combat aiming point and reliable mid- to long-range holdovers when zeroed for .223/5.56. Rugged, NV-compatible, and made in the USA, the EXPS3-DCR is designed to perform whether you’re clearing rooms, engaging at distance, or operating with night-vision.

The Danger Close Reticle is a thoughtful evolution of the classic speed-ring. The ring retains a 68 MOA width but removes the top for a cleaner sight picture and replaces the bottom with a prominent chevron to correct POA/POI shift at extremely short ranges. Zero a .223/5.56 at 50 yards and you gain intuitive aiming solutions including a 200-yard reference and a 7-yard close-quarters point at the chevron — a practical layout for duty, CQB, and patrol scenarios. Housed in the EXPS form factor with a 7 mm raised quick-detach base for lower 1/3 co-witness, it delivers true two-eyes-open shooting and fast target re-acquisition.
